New Dutch Biggles books

From 2001 Miklo publishes, in a unique cooperation with the International Biggles Association, a series of the 5 never previously into Dutch translated Biggles books.
After a break of a few years this series is now continued by the I.B.A. itself.
So far the following six titles have been published:

1. Biggles en zijn basis (2001)

GB: The Boy Biggles (1968)
Translation: Marvel M. Wagenaar-Wilm / Paul van der Werf
Contents: Biggles' youth in the jungle at the foot of the Himalaya in colonial British-India, 1912-1914. The exciting adventurous experiences lay the foundation of James' later personality.
2. Biggles en de pechvogel (2002)

GB: Biggles and the penitent thief (1967)
Translation: Marvel M. Wagenaar-Wilm / Paul van der Werf
Contents: Largely by no fault of his own the son of a former employee of Biggles is in big trouble in a case beginning with theft and ending with murder. Biggles goes to Canada to help.
3. Biggles Vlieger-rechercheur (2003)

GB: Biggles - Air-detective (1950)

Contents: 7 Air Police Stories.
4. Biggles in Frakrijk (2009)

In the future the I.B.A. hopes to be allowed to publish translations of the Steeley and Gimlet series.
